Put your iPhone anywhere on the map.
iRoamer is a modern Windows app for Apple developer location simulation on a USB-connected iPhone. Drop a pin anywhere in the world, or simulate a walk along a real route - straight from your PC.
Everything you need to control device location
Built for developers, QA, and power users who need precise, repeatable location on a real iPhone.
Drop a pin anywhere
Click any point on the interactive map and your iPhone reports that exact location to every app.
Simulate a walk
Add destination pins and iRoamer moves the device smoothly along the route - great for fitness and navigation testing.
Export GPX routes
Save any route as a standard GPX file you can reuse, share, or feed into other tooling.
Real device, no jailbreak
Uses Apple's developer location simulation over USB. Nothing is permanently changed on your phone.
Safe by default
If your internet drops mid-session, iRoamer automatically clears the simulated location and disconnects.
One-click disconnect
Hit Disconnect and your iPhone instantly returns to its real GPS location.
Up and running in three steps
iRoamer is split into a tiny local agent on your PC and this web app - the agent talks to your iPhone over USB so location control stays on your machine.
Install the agent
Download and run the iRoamer agent on your Windows PC. It includes everything needed to talk to your iPhone.
Connect your iPhone
Plug in your iPhone over USB, unlock and trust the PC, and enable Developer Mode. iRoamer guides you through it.
Drop a pin & start
Pick your device, choose a spot on the map or build a walk, and press Start. Your location updates instantly.
Set up iRoamer step by step
A one-time setup that takes about five minutes. Follow these in order and you'll be simulating location on your iPhone in no time. iRoamer shows live status for each requirement, so you always know what's left.
Download & install iRoamer
Go to the download section and click Download for Windows to save the installer. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the installer - just click Next and Install like any normal Windows app. There's nothing technical to set up.
Install Apple's USB driver
Install the Apple Devices app (or iTunes) from the Microsoft Store. Windows needs it so it can recognize your iPhone over USB. You don't have to open it - just having it installed is enough.
Connect & trust your iPhone
Plug your iPhone into the PC with a USB cable and unlock it. When the phone asks, tap Trust This Computer and enter your passcode.
Enable Developer Mode
On your iPhone, open Settings › Privacy & Security › Developer Mode, turn it On, and restart when prompted. After the restart, confirm you want it enabled.
iRoamer shows your live Developer Mode status and walks you through this if it's still off - so you can't miss a step.
Open iRoamer
Launch iRoamer from your Desktop shortcut or the Start menu. When Windows asks "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?", click Yes - iRoamer needs this so it can connect securely to your iPhone. It then opens the map app automatically, already connected to your device.
Pick your device & drop a pin
In the map app, choose your iPhone from the device dropdown, then click anywhere on the map to set its location - or switch to Walk mode and add destination pins to simulate moving along a route. Press Start (or Start Walk) and your phone reports the new location instantly.
Disconnect when you're done
Click Disconnect to clear the simulated location and return your iPhone to its real GPS straight away. For safety, iRoamer also clears the location automatically if your internet connection drops mid-session.

Questions, answered
What exactly does iRoamer do?
iRoamer uses Apple's built-in developer location simulation to set the GPS location your iPhone reports to apps. You pick a spot on a map (or build a walking route) on your PC, and your phone behaves as if it's really there. Disconnect at any time to return to real GPS.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows 10/11 PC, the Apple Devices app or iTunes (for the USB driver), and an iPhone connected over USB with Developer Mode enabled. The agent must be launched as Administrator so it can create the modern iOS tunnel.
Does it jailbreak or permanently modify my iPhone?
No. iRoamer uses Apple's official developer simulation interface. Nothing is jailbroken or permanently changed - the simulated location only lasts while iRoamer is connected, and clears as soon as you disconnect.
Where does my data go?
USB and iPhone control happen entirely on your PC through the local agent on 127.0.0.1 - the website cannot touch your USB device directly. See our Privacy Policy for the limited data used for licensing, ads, and updates.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes all core location features and is supported by ads. Pro removes ads entirely and is bound to your device with a license key. Pro is CHF 4.90/month or CHF 39.90/year.
The map app says "Start iRoamer Agent on this PC" - why?
The web app needs the local agent running to control your iPhone. Download and launch the agent, and it will open the map app already connected to your device.
